Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) are physicians licensed in all areas of medicine. In addition to traditional medical education, they develop seeing, thinking and knowing hands to augment a relationally centered approach to healthcare. This comprehensive and holistic approach promotes individuals getting and staying well. While receiving additional training in the neuromusculoskeletal system, they strive to truly promote individualized plans of care for healing potential and long-term stability of a healthy body, mind and spirit.
Tobin Rummel DO has passionately pursued the highest level of this training. He has had the privilege of learning from many of the originators, authors and scientists who developed each of the branches of OMT. In addition to his formal medical training and extra fellowship in OMT, he purposefully sought out and trained with many of those specialists in their offices, at conferences and courses, and long-standing osteopathic study groups. He has refined those skillsets with many hands-on courses and thousands of hours of treating patients. He has been teaching other physicians, residents, students, physical therapists, and massage therapists since 2007, so that other practitioner’s patients might benefit from the highest level of musculoskeletal integrative care available.
